Chart: ASVAB score minimum military requirements based on education level.

The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. Over one million military applicants, high school, and post-secondary students take the ASVAB each year. If you're serious about joining the military, then get serious about studying for the ASVAB.

Your scores in four critical areas, which include Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension and Mathematics Knowledge, count towards your Armed Forces Qualifying Test (AFQT) score. The AFQT score determines whether you're qualified to enlist in the U.S. military. Your scores in the other areas of the ASVAB will determine how qualified you are for certain military occupational specialties (MOS) and enlistment bonuses.
